If you’re looking for some eye candy for your iDevice, Pimp Your Screen is available on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch for $0.99. It also has a handy feature that allows you to preview your apps on the graphic prior to saving to the homescreen/lockscreen. Overall, the app shelves effect is pretty cool as are the additional high quality wallpapers and icon skins. All wallpapers are arranged in eight different categories including Abstract, Cartoon, Holidays, Sci-Fi, Animals, Sport, Nature, and My Images. Another sweet category is “icon skins” which similar to app shelves, incorporate the iPad app icons into the design. Pimp Your Screen for Mac, released on March 5, 2012, includes everything from photos of tropical sandy beaches to unusual abstract designs. By adding one of the graphics from app shelves category, the iPad apps on your homescreens will sit perfectly on the shelves. The app shelves category contains numerous gorgeous graphics that look similar to the iBooks user interface, an app that sports your digital books on virtual shelves. The categories sport numerous themes including one of my favourites, an “app shelves” theme. Pimp Your Screen offers a variety of different graphics that can be browsed by category or by the most popular images that have received the most ratings within the app. First, double-click on the ‘This PC’ icon present on your desktop to open the File Explorer. After you clicked 'Save' and applied the wallpaper to your desktop, open 'System Preferences' and navigate into 'Desktop & Screen Saver'. Cute HD backgrounds, stickers, creating kaleidoscopic lock screen & home screen. We don’t often write about screensaver or wallpaper apps but we’ve found one that’s capable of seriously pimping out your sexy tablet. Every single image is retina optimized and in high resolution.
